영어주일학교, 이렇게 해보자(6)
영어로 전도하기

한국 갤럽의 조사에 의하면 지난 10년간 기독교인의 성장은 둔화되고 있으며, 기독교인이 생각하는 개인 생활에서 종교의 중요성의 비율이 낮아지고 있다. 신앙생활을 시작한 시기에 대해 10대 이하로 응답한 비율은 2004년에 47%에 비해 2014년은 33%로 저하되었다(한국갤럽조사연구소, 2015).
주일학교의 감소에 대한 문제는 모든 교단에서 보이고 있다(양재권, 2013). 어린이의 제자양육 뿐 아니라 어린이들에게 어떻게 복음을 전할 것인가, 아이들이 어떻게 친구를 전도하게 할 것인가에 대해 고민해야한다. 단기선교, 여름성경학교, 여름캠프를 준비하는 6월이다.
이번 호에서는 해외 단기선교, 여름성경학교를 준비하며 어린이에게 영어로 복음전도를 어떻게 할 수 있는지에 대한 다양한 방법을 나누고자 한다. 지난 호에 이어 노아 설교문과 활동도 함께 소개한다.
1. 전도를 위한 회화
단기선교, 영어여름성경학교를 준비하는 경우 다음의 회화를 활용해 전도해보자. 단기 선교의 경우 영어사용이 가능한 국가에서는 영어로 사람들과 대화를 시도해보며 복음을 전할 수 있다. 어린이 여름성경학교의 경우 선생님 혹은 원어민 교사와 함께 회화를 통해 영어로 어떻게 사람들과 대화를 시작하는 지, 전도를 어떻게 하는 지 경험할 수 있다.
1) 대화하기

2) 복음 전하기

God love's you. 하나님은 당신을 사랑하십니다.
God created the world. 하나님이 세상을 창조하셨어요.
We have sinned against God. 우리는 하나님께 죄를 지었어요.
Jesus died on the cross for our sins. 예수님은 우리의 죄를 위하여 십자가에 못 박혀 죽으셨어요.
Jesus washed away our sins. 예수님이 우리의 죄를 씻겨주셨어요.
Believe in Jesus Christ as your Savior. He will give you eternal life. 예수 그리스도를 당신의 구세주로 믿으세요.
예수님이 당신에게 영생을 주실 것입니다.
2. 전도도구 - 복음 팔찌
어린이들에게는 활동을 통해 복음을 전하는 다양한 도구들이 있다. 글 없는 책, 복음 팔찌, 복음 딱지 등 다양한 자료를 시중에서 구할 수 있다. 그 중 복음 팔찌를 활용한 전도법을 소개한다. (복음 팔찌 구입처: 갓피플, 생명의말씀사)
1) 복음 팔찌 소개하기

What are these? They are very colorful. 이것들은 무엇이니? 매우 알록달록하네.
These are colored beads. 이것은 색깔 비즈에요.
What can we make with colored beads? 우리가 이 색깔 비즈로 무엇을 만들 수 있을까?
Today, we will make a bracelet. 오늘 우리는 팔찌를 만들거예요.
This is a special bracelet called the Gospel Bracelet. 이것은 복음 팔찌라 불리는 특별한 팔찌이에요.
Each of beads has stories about the Gospel. 각 비즈는 복음에 대한 이야기를 가지고 있어요.

2) 검은색 구슬 소개하기

Can you point the black bead? 검은색 구슬을 가리켜 볼까요?
Black colored bead means sin. 검은색 구슬은 죄를 의미해요.
Let's read the Bible, Romans Chapter three Verse twenty three. 로마서 3장 23절을 함께 읽어봅시다.
We have sinned. 우리는 죄를 지었어요.
God hates sin. 하나님은 죄를 싫어하세요.
Sin separates us from God. 죄가 우리를 하나님으로부터 멀어지게 했어요.
3) 빨간색 구슬 소개하기

What does the Bible say about removing sins? 성경은 죄를 없애는 것에 대해 어떻게 말하고 있나요?
Can you read Romans Chapter 5 Verse 8? 로마서 5장 8절을 읽어볼까요?
Red color stands for the blood of Jesus. 빨간 색은 예수님의 피를 상징해요.
Jesus died on the cross to save us from our sins. 예수님께서 우리를 죄에서 구원하시기 위해 십자가에서
돌아가셨어요.
Do you believe that Jesus died on the 예수님이 우리의 죄를 위해 십자가에서 돌아가신 것을

4) 흰색 구슬 소개하기

Let's read 1 John Chapter 1 Verse 9. 요한일서 1장 9절을 읽어봅시다.
Ask God to forgive our sins. 하나님께 우리의 죄를 용서해달라고 구하세요.
Believe that Jesus died on the cross to be punished instead of us. 예수님이 우리를 대신해 십자가에서 돌아가신 것을
믿으세요.
Invite Jesus into our lives to help us turn away from sin. 우리가 죄에서 돌아설 수 있도록 예수님을 우리
삶에 초대하세요.
Jesus washes our sins away. 예수님은 우리의 죄를 씻겨주세요.
5) 노란색 구슬 소개하기

What color is it? 어떤 색인가요?
This is yellow. 노란색이에요.
Yellow means heaven. 노란색은 천국을 의미해요.
Heaven is decorated with all kinds of gems. 천국은 모든 종류의 보석으로 장식되어 잇어요.
It's very fantastic. 그건 매우 환상적이에요.
Jesus is in there. 예수님께서 그곳에 계셔요.
Can you read John Chapter 1 Verse 12? 요한복음 1장 12절을 읽어볼까요?
We can one day be with God in heaven. 언젠가 우리도 하나님과 함께 그곳에 있을 거에요.
6) 영접기도하기

7) 초록 구슬 소개하기

Now you have a special relationship with Jesus. 이제 예수님과 특별한 관계를 갖게 됐어요.
Which colored bead is left? 어떤 색깔 구슬이 남았나요?
Green means the new life in Jesus Christ. 초록색은 예수님 안에서의 새 삶을 의미해요.
Plants need three things to grow: sunshine, rain and good soil. 식물은 자라기 위해서 햇빛, 비, 좋은 토양
이 세 가지가 필요해요.
For your faith to grow, you can do these three things: praying, 너의 신앙 성장을 위해 너는 이 세 가지를 할 수 있어요.
reading the Bible, and obeying God. 기도하기, 성경읽기, 하나님께 순종하기.
Go to Church and Sunday school every Sunday. 매 주일 교회와 주일학교에 가서 예배드리세요.
You can understand the Bible well. 성경을 더 잘 이해할 수 있어요.
Tell this Gospel to others. 이 복음을 다른 사람에게 전하세요.
3. 복음 양초 만들기
뇌기반 교육에 따르면 오감을 통한 학습은 장기기억에 도움이 된다고 한다. 다양한 만들기를 접목해 복음을 전해보자. 복음 양초 만들기는 향기가 나는 가루 양초를 화용한 만들기로, 시각, 후각, 청각, 촉각을 통한 경험과 말씀을 읽어 봄으로 다중감각을 자극하는 활동이다.
활동 후 만들어진 복음 양초에 불을 붙여 봄으로 우리를 구원하시기 오신 예수님을 생각하며, 크리스천으로 세상의 빛으로 살아가길 다짐해보는 시간을 가져보자.

Today, we will make a Gospel candle.
For making a Gospel candle, we need salt, candle sand(black,
red, yellow, green), spoon, candle wick, and a yogurt glass jar
Prepare a bottle and open the cover.
What is it? Yes. This is salt.
What color is it? It is white.
White represents our original pure heart.
Put 2 spoons of salt into the bottle.
What color is it? It is black.
Black represents our dark and bad sins.
Put 2 spoons of black candle sand into the bottle.
This is red.
Red represents Jesus' precious blood.
Put 2 spoons of red candle sand into the bottle.
Put a candle wick in the middle of the bottle.
Green represents the growing of Christians.
Put 2 spoons of green candle sand into the bottle.
Yellow represents heaven.
Put 2 spoons of yellow candle sand into the bottle.
Finish. Now, let's light the candle.
4. 전도지 만들기
아이들과 전도지를 만들며 노란색, 검정색, 빨간색, 하얀색, 초록색에 대해 이야기를 나누며 나비의 색깔을 칠해 전도지를 만들어 보자. 색깔의 내용을 회상하며 친구에게 복음을 전할 수 있는 전도지이다. 관련 말씀도 외우도록 지도하면 좋다.

Noah was a righteous man, blameless among the people of his time, and he walked faithfully with God.
Genesis 6:9
Have you ever done something bad? When your parents found out about it, what happened?
Some of parents give their children a punishment when they did a bad thing. Parents love you very much,
but they wanted you to remember to do the right thing next time.
God loved the people of the world. But they became so wicked. So God decided to destroy the whole world.
He went to see Noah, the only person who lived right and obeyed and listened to Him.
God told Noah to build an ark. Noah obeyed. He gathered lots of wood and started building the ark.
When everything was ready, God told Noah and his family to go into the ark.
Also, animals came to Noah and went into the ark. Then God shut the door. Everyone waited.
It started to rain. The rain poured and poured without stopping. It covered the whole earth.
After forty days, the rain stopped.
Noah sent a dove to the sky. It returned with an olive branch on its beak.
God told Noah to come out of the ark. Noah thanked God for saving him and his family.
God made a promise to Noah. He told Noah that he would never destroy the world again.
God made a beautiful rainbow in the sky.
It is a sign from God - his promise that He will never flood the world again.

Thank you for saving us.
Thank you for keeping your promises.
